After 2 years of language school, can I get a job visa?

What actually happens after language school — can you move to a work visa, do you need to go to university, or do most people just go home?

Language school by itself doesn't lead to a work visa. Here's the honest picture.

A D-4 is a study visa with a two-year ceiling. To stay longer you generally move to one of these:
- D-2 (university degree): the most common path. Language school gets your Korean to the level universities require, then you enrol in a degree.
- E-7 (skilled work): requires a company to sponsor you, and normally a degree plus relevant experience. Korean ability matters, and the market is competitive right now.
- E-2 (English teaching): requires a degree from an English-speaking country.

Being realistic: 6 months to a year of Korean gets you to a level where daily life is comfortable, not to business fluency. Students who move into work here usually reach TOPIK 4-5 and combine it with a degree or a skill that's in demand.

Plenty of our students plan two semesters, love it, and then apply to a degree programme — that's the normal path, and we help with those applications too.

Went language school then D-2. The degree route is far more predictable than hoping a company sponsors you straight out of a language program.
