Privacy Policy (v2026-10)
This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use allo-korea.com and My page, why we collect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and what rights you have. We wrote it in plain language. If something is not clear, write to [email protected].
1. Who is responsible for your data
ALLO PARTNERS Co., Ltd. ("ALLO", "we", "us") is the data controller.
- Address: 161-8 Magokjungang-ro, Gangseo-gu, Seoul, Republic of Korea
- Email for privacy requests: [email protected]

We collect this data from you directly, when you fill in the forms on the site or upload files in My page. If you sign in with Google, Google gives us your name and email address.
3. Your documents
To apply to a Korean language school, you upload documents in My page. Depending on the school and the length of your program, these can include:
- a scan of your passport;
- your diploma or graduation certificate, and transcripts;
- a bank statement or other proof of funds;
- a family-relationship certificate, when a parent is the account holder or the owner of the bank account;
- a photo, and any other document the school asks for.
We use these documents for one purpose only: to review them, help you correct them, and submit them to the school you chose. We do not use them for marketing.
Passport scans and bank statements are sensitive. Upload them only through My page, not by chat or social media.
4. Who we share your data with
The school you chose. We send your application data and documents to the Korean university language program you apply to, and only for that application. The school uses them to decide on your admission and, later, for your enrolment. The school is a separate organisation with its own privacy rules.
Payment providers. When you pay, you give your payment details directly to the provider, not to us:
- PayPal (payments in USD);
- PayVerse, operated by Eromnet Co., Ltd., Korea (card payments in EUR).
We receive a confirmation and a reference number from them. We do not receive your full card number.
Hosting and security. Our website and My page run on WordPress.com (Automattic) and are protected by Cloudflare. Your data is stored on their servers, which offer data-protection terms that meet Korean and EU requirements.
Analytics and advertising partners. See section 5.
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with anyone else, except when the law requires it, or when it is necessary for the application and the payment described above.
5. Cookies, analytics and advertising
We use these tools on the public pages of the site:
- Google Analytics — to count visits and see which pages are used;
- Google Ads — to measure whether our advertising brings visitors;
- Meta Pixel — to measure whether our advertising on Facebook and Instagram brings visitors.
These tools set cookies and send technical data (such as your IP address, device and pages visited) to Google and Meta. They are used only with your consent, which you give or refuse in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time in your browser settings or in the cookie settings of the site. If you refuse, the site still works.
My page uses only the cookies needed to keep you signed in.
6. How long we keep your data
| Data | How long | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Contract and payment records (account data, application data, acceptance record, payment confirmation, refund records) | 5 years after the contract ends | Korean Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce |
| Complaint and dispute records (messages about a complaint) | 3 years | Same Act |
| Documents you uploaded (passport, diploma, bank statement, family certificate) | Until the school issues the Standard Admission Letter, or until the application stops. A document that is part of the contract record is kept for the 5-year period above. | Contract, legal obligation |
| Analytics and advertising data | According to the settings of each tool (Google Analytics: up to 26 months; Meta: up to 180 days) | Consent |
| Account with no payment and no application | 1 year after the last sign-in, then deleted | Legitimate interest |
When the retention period ends, we delete the data or make it anonymous.
7. Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- see the data we hold about you;
- correct data that is wrong or out of date;
- delete your data — we delete it right away, except data we must keep for the legal periods in section 6, which we delete when that period ends;
- withdraw your consent to analytics and advertising cookies;
- receive a copy of the data you gave us.
Write to [email protected] from the email address of your account. We reply within 1 business day and complete the request within 30 days. If you live in the European Union, you also have the right to complain to the data-protection authority of your country.
8. Security
- My page and all forms use encrypted connections (HTTPS).
- Only ALLO staff who work on your application can open your documents.
- Documents are sent to the school through the channel the school requires. We do not post them on social media or send them by chat.
- If a data breach affects you, we tell you and the relevant authority as the law requires.
9. Age
Our service is for people who are 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you are under 18, please do not create an account. If we learn that an account belongs to a person under 18, we close it and delete the data.
