Reviews
I still miss the little routines: grabbing kimbap before class, walking under the yellow ginkgo trees, studying in cafés late into the evening.
Sometimes I look at old photos and feel that familiar ache of nostalgia. I know I’ll go back. Korea gave me so much more than a language — it gave me memories, friendships, and a version of myself I really love.

Yeungnam University Regular Korean Program Overview
Established in 2002, Yeungnam University’s Korean Language Institute (KLI) welcomes students from all over the world and is taught by dedicated teachers who hold a 1st or 2nd level license in Korean language education. The regular Korean program offers 4 semesters a year, with each semester taking 10 weeks to complete 200 hours of instruction.
Each regular term is 10 weeks (200 hours), with classes from Monday to Friday. Classes are offered in:
· Morning class: 09:00 – 12:50
· Afternoon class: 13:30 – 17:20
Class time (morning or afternoon) is decided by Yeungnam University based on your placement test result and overall class opening situation. Students cannot choose their class time.
Levels range from Level 1 to Level 6. New students take a placement test (written + speaking) so they can join the most suitable level. Applicants with no prior knowledge of Korean can be placed directly in Level 1.
