Most Asked Questions

Q. How many hours per day is the Regular Program?
Classes are held Monday to Friday for 4 hours per day (09:00–13:00 for the morning class, 13:45–17:45 for the afternoon class). Daily homework and periodic tests are included.
You can indicate your preference, but final placement depends on availability. Korea University cannot guarantee morning/afternoon selection every term.
All new students take a placement test before the term begins. Your speaking, reading, and grammar skills will determine your level from Level 1 to Level 6.
If you begin at Level 1 and study continuously, it takes around 6 terms (about 1 year and 6 months) to complete Level 6.
Yes. If you enroll for multiple consecutive terms and meet document and financial requirements, the school can issue a Certificate of Admission for your D-4 visa application.
Yes. Every term, KU KLC offers field trips, cultural workshops, student clubs, and seasonal events, such as temple stays, cooking classes, and the Global Korean Video Contest.
Yes. Morning classes and beginner levels fill up the fastest. We recommend applying at least 2–3 months in advance, especially for Spring and Fall terms.
