How classes work at BestFriend Korean Academy
BestFriend Korean Academy in Seoul focuses on small-group Korean conversation. With an average of only 3–4 students per class, you get plenty of speaking time, real corrections, and fast progress in practical Korean for daily life and study in Korea.
Classes are taught in small groups (3–4 students on average), so the teacher can really focus on each person. In every class, the teacher asks many questions and makes sure you actually speak, not just listen.
Each student gets around 10–20 minutes of one-to-one speaking time with the teacher during the lesson. While you speak, the teacher immediately corrects your pronunciation, word choice, and grammar on the spot.
Many foreign learners develop “strange” or unnatural pronunciation habits. At BestFriend, teachers actively correct these habits again and again, so your Korean becomes clearer and more natural over time.
Because you are talking so much, getting corrected live, and repeating the right forms, you can experience a very strong learning effect in a short time — especially for conversation.
What makes these classes different?
- Pronunciation correction – Teachers fix “foreign-sounding” pronunciation right away, many times, so your mouth and ears slowly change and your Korean sounds more natural.
- Diary homework for grammar & vocabulary – You write short diary entries or texts in Korean. While writing, you naturally look for new words and grammar. The teacher then checks everything carefully and corrects each mistake.
- Presentation time for confidence – Around once a month (about 10 minutes, optional), you present a fun topic in front of your classmates. Preparing the presentation opens your brain, and saying it out loud boosts your speaking confidence.
- Group conversation practice – You practice real dialogues with your classmates, similar to daily life situations in Seoul: cafés, school, work, shopping, and more.
- Perfect if you want a Korean language school in Seoul that focuses on conversation, pronunciation correction, and real-life speaking.
